Accident Analysis was founded in 1996 in response to a demand from the corporate sector for expert scientific research and application in accident appraisal and analysis. We are retained by both plaintiff and defense attorneys for cases involving personal injury. Our expertise is in applied anatomy and biomechanics with relation to forces, motions and the effects on anatomical structures, functions and systems. We use state-of-the-art methods specialising in laboratory simulation and computer bioanimation.
The two principals, Don Meikle and Geoffrey Hosford, have each had long standing involvement in the university sector in anatomy and biomechanics. The application is in the human movement sciences and is complemented by considerable experience in elite sport at the international level. Accident Analysis is now considered the foremost movement analysis company in Australasia having successfully represented clients in forums ranging from Sport Tribunals to Supreme Court.
